Our mission

Due to Bulgaria's failure to implement working animal welfare laws, volunteers in the small town of Stamboliyski created an improvisational dog shelter. Since 2017, when Dona, the first member of the shelter arrived, the rescue has welcomed hundreds of abandoned seniors, puppies, sick and mistreated dogs and has successfully placed more than 250 in forever homes across Europe

We ask you to help us continue doing this by ideally adopting one of our guests or sharing the website with your friends who might be looking to adopt.

OUR DOGS

We have 63 dogs in the shelter. Last year we helped 42 dogs get adopted in several countries across Europe. You can see more information about this year's adoptions here: ADOPTIONS.

We regularly rescue dogs that require intensive treatement. Please help us help them so that we can continue to provide treatement for any dog that needs it: CLINIC.
